Ofsted 2011 judged Kirby Hill as a good and constantly improving school and graded pupils’ behaviour, attendance and their spiritual, moral, social and cultural as outstanding:‘ Pupils are happy, confident and considerate and their enjoyment of school is reflected in their high attendance. Their behavior is excellent and demonstrates the highly effective way in which they are taught to value and respect each other’s differences and feelings from an early age.

Inspection evidence shows that currently, from broadly average starting points, pupils are on course to reach above average attainment by the end of Year 6.’

The school has also been awarded the Inclusion Quality Mark, the Dyselxia Quality Mark, RE Quality Mark Silver, Healthy School status in recognition of our attitudes, healthy lifestyle and PSHCE, International Schools Award, Global Schools Award Level 2, and Financial Management Standard in recognition of the financial competencies in school. We are very proud to be a Fairtrade School. We also have the ICT Quality Mark and are currently working towards renewing our accreditation.
